Settings and Notifications

Two shared screens that sit outside your classes.

Settings

Opening your account settings shows your details and a Teaching tab listing the classes you teach.

From here you can change your own account details. You cannot change your role, your school, or which classes you teach — those belong to your school admin.

If a class you teach is missing from the Teaching tab, the class hasn't been assigned to you; changing settings won't add it.

Notifications

The bell in the top bar collects notices addressed to you: class invites, bulletins, and anything leadership sends your way.

Unread items are marked until you open them. The bell is also how a class invite reaches you — accepting one is what puts a class into your console.

What's not here

School-wide settings — terms, grading, staff, billing — don't appear in the teacher console at all. If you need one changed, it's a request to your admin, not a setting you can toggle.
