Students

Every student on the school roll, with the three measures leadership checks first: mastery, attendance and logged concerns.

The table

ColumnWhat it means
StudentName and grade. Click a row to open the student profile.
GradeThe student's grade.
MasteryShare of the curriculum they've actually mastered.
Attend.School days with a sign-in, over the last 30 days.
ConcernsBehavioural concerns logged against them.

The At-risk students chip at the top of the table filters to students already flagged by the at-risk model, which is the fastest way to see who needs a conversation.

Filtering

Three controls sit above the table — grade, status and sort — plus a search box that matches a student or their parent. Searching a parent's name is often the quickest route when a family has several children at the school.

Export

Export downloads what the table currently shows, so filter first if you want a specific grade or the at-risk list rather than the whole school.

Reading mastery

A low mastery figure means the student has mastered few of the topics in their curriculum. On a class that has just started a subject, almost every topic is unassessed and the number reads low for that reason alone. At-risk students explains how the flag weighs these together.

Empty states

  • No students yet — the roster hasn't been imported for this school.
  • No students match — filters are excluding everyone; clear them.
  • No learning activity yet — the student exists but hasn't used Asai, so there is nothing to measure.
  • Couldn't load students — the request failed. Refresh; if it repeats, the API is unreachable.

Note

The student profile, class report and subject/topic report links open a Coming soon screen — the hand-off to those pages is wired, but the pages themselves aren't built yet.
