Behavioural Incidents

Where you log what you see in class — good and bad — against the student concerned.

Logging an incident

An entry records the student, what happened, and whether it's a concern or praise. Both matter: praise is the record that balances a file and gives a report something positive to say.

Everything you log is scoped to your own students, and it's visible to leadership in the principal console.

What you see

The list covers incidents for students in your classes, with a filter for the class. Your own entries are marked as logged by you.

You log; leadership reviews

This is the important boundary:

  • You record what happened.
  • Leadership reviews, resolves and decides on follow-up.

There is no resolve or escalate control in the teacher console. If an incident needs action beyond the log, tell your head of department or principal directly — logging it isn't a request for action on its own.

What it feeds

Behaviour entries surface in two other places:

  • Home — concern and praise counts for your students
  • Reports — teacher comments and alerts in the report preview

If an entry is wrong

Ask leadership to correct it. Teachers cannot edit or delete a logged incident once saved, which is deliberate — the record is meant to be trustworthy.
