Academic Progress

The full report for one child: how they're doing overall, subject by subject, and where to help next.

Choosing a child

If you have more than one child, the screen opens on a picker. Select a child to load their report. The switcher at the top of the report moves between children without going back.

If the list can't load, the page says Couldn't load your children with a suggestion to check the connection and refresh.

Headline figures

  • Overall — the child's average across assessed work.
  • Growth — change over the reporting window.
  • Active days — days with recorded work.
  • Attendance — the same figure as the child's profile.

The window is shown beside the title, for example last 30 days, so a figure is never ambiguous about its period.

Exam results

Marks for exams the school has recorded, with subject, paper, and grade. If the school hasn't entered exams, the section reads No results yet rather than showing a fabricated score.

Progress history

The child's marks over time as a trend, so improvement or a dip is visible rather than inferred from one number.

Subject breakdown

One row per subject with its mark and ASAI's grading word:

  • Excellent — strong, secure understanding.
  • Good work — on track.
  • Needs some practice — a gap worth attention.
  • Needs support — the priority subject.

Select a subject to open its topic detail.

Strengths and areas to focus on

Two short lists derived from the subject breakdown — what's holding up, and what to work on first. These are generated from the recorded marks, not typed by a teacher.

Export PDF

Export PDF opens your browser's print dialog. Choose Save as PDF to keep a copy or send it on. The button hides itself when printing, so it doesn't appear in the output.

Layout note: the print view drops the sidebar and switcher, leaving just the report.
