Assessments
Set a quiz for a class, then watch the results come in.
The list
Every assessment you've set, with its class, its status and how many attempts it has had. Filter quizzes narrows the list.
Status tells you where an assessment is in its life — set but not started, running, or finished.
Building a quiz
The builder is where the questions are written:
- Your question — the text students see, with the answer options
- Correct answer — marked per question
- Student preview — check what a student will actually see before you set it live
A question without a correct answer marked can't be scored, so set it before publishing.
Results
Once students attempt it, the assessment shows:
| Figure | What it means |
|---|---|
| Attempts | How many students have taken it |
| Average | Mean score across attempts |
| Correct | How many answers were right |
| Correct answers by question | Which questions the class got right and wrong |
That last view is the useful one: a question most of the class got wrong is a teaching signal, not a student failure.
Results so far
An assessment's results are live — open it any time to see progress mid-way through. Figures move as more students attempt it.
Empty states
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| No assessments | You haven't set any yet |
| Attempts at zero | Nobody has started it — check it's been shared with the class |
| No students attempt it | Confirm the class has members, and that the assessment is published rather than saved as a draft |
