Reports
Two screens: a summary of how your classes are doing, and a builder for writing a single student's report.
Class reports
The summary screen shows four figures across your classes:
| Figure | What it means |
|---|---|
| Class average | Mean performance across the class |
| Curriculum progress | How much of the term's curriculum has been covered |
| Students at risk | Students whose results suggest they need attention |
| Active this week | Students who studied or were assessed this week |
Each figure explains itself — a Why note sits under the numbers so a low count isn't left unexplained. Open a class report drills into one class.
Writing a report
The builder is where a report for one student is drafted. Choose the class, the student and the period it covers, and set the tone.
The preview then shows exactly what the report will say, assembled from:
- overall performance
- mastery by subject
- study patterns and effort
- teacher comments and alerts
- recommended next steps
Nothing appears until you pick a student — the preview panel says so directly rather than showing a blank report.
Sending reports
The builder drafts and previews. Sending to parents happens through Announcements — a report isn't emailed the moment you finish it.
If a report looks thin
A report can only draw on what the student has actually done. A student with few assessments and no study activity produces a short report, and the preview says so rather than filling the gap with invented detail.
