Principal

The principal console is the leadership view of a school: how students are doing, what teachers are teaching, and what needs a decision from you.

You share most screens with School Admin, but the emphasis differs. Admin sets the school up; the principal watches it run — results, attendance, behaviour and staff requests.

Start here

  • Signing in — the principal address and what it expects.
  • Home — the daily overview, and what each tile counts.

Reading the numbers honestly

Three things are worth knowing before you interpret a figure:

  • Attendance counts Asai sign-ins, not a class register. The school has no marked register yet; see Attendance.
  • Mastery reflects assessed topics only. A class that has barely started a subject reads low because most topics are unassessed, not because students are failing.
  • Several detail pages are placeholders. Student profile, teacher profile, class/subject/topic reports and the report builder open a "Coming soon" screen. Reports says which ones are live.
