Curriculum
How far each grade has got through its curriculum, and whether the classes within a grade are moving together.
The table
Two columns: Grade and Overall — the share of the curriculum covered for that grade.
Behind Overall sits a comparison between the classes in the grade. When classes are at similar points, the screen says Every class is on track. When one is behind, it names the gap so you can see which class needs attention rather than which grade.
When there's nothing to compare
No pace to compare against is a normal state, not an error. It appears when a grade has only one class, or when there isn't enough recorded progress to establish a pace. One class cannot be behind another.
How this relates to mastery
Curriculum here is coverage — how much has been taught. Students and At-risk students show mastery — how much has been learned.
They can legitimately disagree. A class can be 80% through the curriculum and show low mastery if the topics were covered quickly, or early in the term and since forgotten. Reading them together is the point: coverage without mastery means re-teaching, not moving on.
Empty states
- No curriculum yet — no curriculum has been assigned to the school's grades.
- No classes yet — no classes to measure coverage against.
