The school admin console isn't covered in these pages yet.

Which console am I in?

Your account decides it — you don't pick a console. Read the sidebar, since every console shares the same shell:

  • Students, Teachers, Attendance, Timetable, Curriculum, At-risk, Behaviour, Requests, Security, Bulletins — the principal console.
  • Class Directory, Curriculum & Lesson Plans, Class Calendar, Student Directory, Behavioural Incidents, Shared Resources, Staff Requests — the teacher console.
  • My Children, Academic Progress, Class Assignments, Class Timetable, Announcements — the parents console.

Several names repeat across consoles and mean different things. Requests is a staff cover request in the teacher and principal consoles; Assessments is a school-wide list for leadership but a class list for a teacher. If the screen shows other people's classes, you're in the principal console.

Seeing a screen that belongs to another console is an access question for your school administrator, not a settings toggle.

A note on school staff

A school's own staff — bursar, librarian, secretary, and similar — are recorded by School Admin under Staff Roster and Departments, and appear to leadership under Teachers & Staff. They hold an account, but there is no separate staff console.

Where to begin

Start with Principal. It's the widest of the three, and the console where a wrong number costs the most: attendance here counts platform sign-ins, not a class register.
