Reports
Four headline measures for the school, then a class-by-class table underneath.
The headline figures
- School average — mean mastery across the school.
- Curriculum completion — how much of the assigned curriculum has been covered.
- Mastery rate — the share of students above the mastery threshold.
- At-risk classes — classes with flagged students in them.
Beneath them, Classes needing attention names the specific classes those measures are pointing at, and struggling topics lists the subjects or topics where mastery is weakest across the school — the signal for where to put support, not just which class is behind.
The class table
| Column | What it means |
|---|---|
| Class | Class name and teacher. |
| Grade | Grade the class belongs to. |
| Mastery | Share of assessed curriculum mastered. |
| Curriculum | Coverage — how much has been taught. |
| At-risk | Number of flagged students. |

Insights
A short written summary at the bottom, drawn from the same figures — the quickest way to turn the table into something you can say in a meeting.
Reading the four measures together
Coverage high, mastery low — teaching is moving faster than learning. Re-teach before advancing.
Coverage low, mastery high — a class that has covered little but learned it well. Nothing is wrong; they are simply earlier in the term.
Mastery rate low but school average fine — a small group is struggling while most are fine. Look at at-risk classes rather than the school figure.
