Classroom is where your enrolled subjects live. Open it from the sidebar.

What you see depends on your role

This page covers the student Classroom. Teachers, school admins and principals get a different Classroom with Classes, Students, Session, Schedule, Assignments, Resources and Reports — see Classroom (teaching staff) at the bottom.

Your sidebar

Students get three destinations:

• Overview — your dashboard
• Quizzes — quizzes set for your classes
• Past Papers — practice papers

Overview

The overview greets you and shows what's happening in your classes:

• Daily Overview — what needs attention today
• My Classes — the classes you've joined
• Calendar — upcoming sessions and deadlines

Joining a class

Your teacher invites you to a class from their side; the invite appears in your notifications. Accept it and the class shows up under My Classes. You don't create classes yourself — that's a teacher action.

If a class you expect isn't listed, the invite is still pending or was sent to a different email address.

Quizzes

Quizzes lists the quizzes available to you. Each one shows its class and topic. Open a quiz to start it; your result is recorded against the class so your teacher can see it.

Past Papers

Past Papers gives you practice papers to work through outside class. They're organised by subject. Attempts are recorded, so they contribute to your progress.

Calendar and times

Sessions and deadlines on your calendar are shown in Zambia time (CAT, UTC+2).

If a class is scheduled for 10:00, it appears at 10 AM — no conversion needed on your side.

For teaching staff

Teachers and admins get a different Classroom entirely:

• Classes — create or join classes, edit class names, manage the class library
• Students — the roster for each class
• Session — run a live class
• Schedule — week grid for scheduling sessions (times in CAT)
• Assignments — create differentiated assignments, track submissions
• Resources — shared material per subject
• Reports — class performance
